Observation #5

Friendships are like roots. You really don't know how far they grow down. I spent the weekend with friends from college I barely spoke to since I saw them last year, and have barely spoke to in the past 3-4 years. But I am so grateful for them and had a fun-filled time of real conversation and laughter. With our lives widening apart there still exists a love and concern beneath. How surprising. How lovely.
